Breaking News: Cheap Flights To Honolulu, Hawaii on Delta For $422
By Award Travel Points on October 14, 2013
Looks like Delta is holding an aggressive fare sale from several of United’s hubs to Honolulu this fall and winter with roundtrip prices from several cities including Newark, Denver, Houston and Phoenix pricing out as low as $422. It looks like these fares area available for travel originating almost every day in October and November from Newark. As well as through December 13, 2013.
If you want to find which dates are available and different routings, I’d recommend you head over to the ITA Booking Matrix, where you’ll be able to play around with your dates. You can’t book via ITA, but it will help identify the dates with low fares and then you can book via your preferred online travel agency or airline website. I was able to find flights priced exactly as ITA Matrix had priced it on Delta.com.
These flights are booking in V class, so upgrades will be unlikely it looks like. But for flights this cheap, that seems worth it to me! You’ll earn a total of 10,494 miles roundtrip on this itinerary, so that breaks down to a cost per mile of 4 cents per mile – not quite mileage run territory, but awfully close.
What’s great about Honolulu is that there are plenty of great places to stay and things to do on Oahu, but you can also catch cheap inter-island flights to Maui, Kauai and the Big Island if you want to hop over there, so this could be a great way to plan a cheap Hawaiian getaway this fall.
This is an awesome deal because these flights are usually over $1000 per person. Take advantage of this deal if you can and spend some time in one of the best places in the world, Hawaii.
